LifePlug Participant Guidelines

LifePlug is an event and information sharing network for adults built around the context of the Christian faith. We presume that everyone follows the 'Golden Rule' and treats others as they expect to be treated (Love your neighbor as yourself). In keeping with a fun and responsible atmosphere, we present these guidelines for expected participant behavior.

Remember, in attending any events, you and any guests you bring must agree to these conditions:

  1. Participants must be 18 or older (or an emancipated adult).Children of participants may attend appropriate events if their parents/guardians accept all responsibility for them and the event coordinator approves of their presence.
  2. Be polite and courteous to others at events.
  3. Be polite and courteous in your communications regarding events.
  4. Respect the rights of homeowners and will immediately leave an event held in a private home if asked to do so by the event coordinator or homeowner.
  5. Be considerate when RSVPing for events. Make every effort to attend events they have RSVPed to and cancel in a timely manner RSVPs they cannot meet.
  6. Only LifePlug Steering Committee will represent LifePlug's interests. Please do not present yourself as representing LifePlug in any official capacity unless specifically empowered to do so by the LifePlug Steering Committee.
  7. Respect the rights of others. While attending any events in public places members will not act in a manner that reflects poorly on LifePlug or the event hosts. Inappropriate behavior is event specific and left up to the event coordinator.
  8. Follow the laws. Members are expected to follow all Federal, State and local laws while attending events.

In rare instances, individuals may be asked to leave an event. Event guests may be removed at the sole discretion of the event host. You may be removed for any reason, but are generally removed for repeated violations of the guidelines.
